TXT2SITE DOCUMENTATION

Txt2Site generates websites. It is a simple but powerful static site generator. Txt2Site is designed to allow focus on writing content for a website and easily manipulating it.

You can choose your favourite markup language:

• Txt2tags
• Markdown
• reStructuredText
• Textile
• Creole
• HTML

You create your website offline on your desktop and when finished, upload it to your hosting provider.

Txt2Site is a commandline tool for your favourite Linux distribution like Ubuntu, Xubuntu or Kubuntu. It is easy to use and completely written with Linux Bash scripts.

Txt2Site is free software. You can redistribute it and/or modify it under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

Txt2Site is a private project initiated after my search for a simple website generator. The design is inspired by the site generators rest2web and Pagegen.
